Today's Love: Black & Blue

Over the years the color combo black & blue has become one of my favorites. You're probably shocked considering that I normally wear tons of color and prints. But, even though colorful and brilliant prints are the ultimate eye candy, black & blue are equally appealing.

Far from sober, the mix is chic, rich and makes me feel so sleek that I glide down the street when wearing it. Yes, there is something about the combo that makes me glide. Don't tell me that you don't have style situations that make you glide down streets? You got to find some, it's so much fun floating on style.

The first time the combo spoke to me it involved a black vintage astrakhan coat layered over a floor length silk Calypso dress. I repeated the color combo shortly after that by updating the look with my Balenciaga moto-jacket. That look went on for months. I wore it almost once a week. Sorry that I don't have any pictures to share. This is before I got comfortable being on the other side of the lens.

But look, as I ease into the crisp days of Autumn, I've put a little outfit together for you. I hope you like my Black & Blue.
