Anastasia is one of my favorite fashion-month girlfriends. I love her spirit and her style. I even follow her adventures with her beautiful daughters on Facebook and Instagram. Her girls are beyond adorable and are little fashionistas in training. On the first day of NY fashion week I walked past this really pretty and cool looking girl (probably a model) on my way to the presentations at Chelsea Piers. As I whipped out my camera to ask for a picture I thought,"OMG what an awesome way to start my NY fashion week street style coverage. This girl is amazing." She obliged graciously to my request and we began taking pics. I was really impressed by her confidence in front of the camera, and she really loved the pics, commenting here and there "wow these are really good." Finally when we were done, she asked me where she could see them, I told her here on All the Pretty Birds, and asked her, "What's your name?" She answered nonchalantly, "Crystal Renn." Laugh and smile. Leave it to me to not recognize Crystal Renn. But, hey it's really all about great style and grace and not so much about who the subject is celebrity-wise? Right? And Crystal has loads in those departments. I love Fashion!
