Good morning Wednesday's Birds! Are you enjoying your Summer? Have you stacked up on goodies from your sales shopping? I've started with a bit here and piece there, but now that my son is on vacation from school and we are weekending on the seaside, I've really transitioned into Summer sales mode. Come on Birds, we've got 10 gorgeous Summer weeks ahead of us (even if the pre-fall collections have already hit shop windows). That's tons of days to looks fabulous. Here are some pieces that we absolutely need!!!

1 - I loved this season's N°21 collection, and this graphic top was a personal favorite. I'll be so happy  to get it on my body soon.
2 - As you probably have guessed from reading ATPB, I'm a huge fan of PJ dressing. So naturally this top by 3.1 Phillip Lim is everything for me. Right now, I could totally see myself tucking it into white slouchy pants.
3 - Acne's two-tone, assymetric, graphic skirt is a perfect way to show off gorgeous tanned legs.
4 - I know that you may think that this Alexander Wang look of a Leather Croc Embossed top and matching shorts is a bit edgy for me, but I daydream about it all the time. I would wear it with strappy medium heel or flat trekking inspired sandals.
5 - With all the amazing front tie-sleeve pieces on the runway this season, this Antipodium shirt dress is an awesome way to embrace the look.
6 - I fell in love with this Peter Pilotto top last week while styling my friend Paula Cademartori for a video. I had my eye on it the entire time, and I so want to make it mine.
7 - I've totally fallen for 10 Crosby Derek Lam while shopping the sales. These wide leg floral pants are my favorite from the Summer collection, and they've firmly placed the brand on my radar for fall.

Let me know your feelings on this selection, and if there is something else that we absolutely need to get our hands on!!

Happy shopping!!!

Hey Pretty Birds,
I'm sorry that I haven't gotten my Berlin art gallery pics up yet. I've been working a lot over the last three days. On Tuesday afternoon, the Gnam Box guys and I filmed a new episode of Tamu's Cafe, and on Tuesday evening I flew to Paris to shoot my friend Elisa Nalin for the & Other Stories Digital campaign. The shoot which took place yesterday went really well and the campaign will be launched sometime in June. Yeah!

So in the meantime, while I finish editing the Berlin photos, here's an image of me outside the Neu Gallery shot by Michelle's friend Andy.

Michelle and I found the grid print Michael Kors' coat that I'm wearing at Madonna, an amazing secondhand shop in Charlottenburg. It was freezing in Berlin that morning and this chic find saved my life. You should definitely stop by Madonna the next time you're in Berlin. We found some amazing Dior, Prada and Miu Miu, plus lots of other less known brands.

Outfit details: Leather jacket and sweater by Acne; button-down blouse by Theory; scarf, trousers, skate shoes and handbag by Celine.

I knew that I had to shoot Agnes the moment I laid eyes on her. Feminine, with a bohemian spirit, I fell in style love when we finally met. I fell MADLY in love, when I discovered that 50 Cent covered her Facebook page. Who would of thought that this adorable little Swedish stylist was a "Go Shorty, It's Your Birthday" fan? I love finding out surprising details about my friends. All the more reason to crush on them, and her. To find out a little more about why she's this week's pretty bird...

Occupation: Stylist
Passion: Styling, drawing, singing.
Hometown: Stockholm
Current Town: Milano

Favorite place to shop in Stockholm: Weekday, Top Shop, Judits Second Hand, Beyond Retro, Nitty Gritty, Acne, Rodebjer
Favorite place to eat in Stockholm: Hermans vegan restaurant.

How do you get your day started? I take a bath and sing.
Favorite breakfast: Soy yoghurt with fresh berries and nuts.

Favorite breakfast spot: My balcony in the summer.

What's your beauty routine? I never had much of a beauty routine.
Skin: I wash my face and put some night cream before going to bed. I rarely put any make-up on because I like my face better clean.
Hair: I brush my hair before washing it and then I let it air dry.
Where do you cut your hair? Last time I cut my hair at Gum here in Milan. I often wait a year before I get it cut, and after, I promise to use hair masks and get hairs cuts more frequently. Never happens.

Describe your style: Feminine and bohemian mixed with some clean Nordic lines.
Favorite brands: Rodebjer, Acne, Marni, Comme des Garçons.
Any style rules (for instance you only wear black shoes)? I always choose skirts over pants.

What do you do before going to bed? Cuddle with my boyfriend.

Hello Gorgeous Birds,
I hope that you all had a lovely weekend. It rained all weekend here in Milan which gave me lots of time to obsess about this week's 7-lips post. Yeah, more incredible pieces to lust about! And here's why I'm lovin' them...
This week's list is bolder and brighter that last week's. We experienced some amazing Spring weather at the beginning of the week, and I'm so ready to break out the color and print. Wait, I always wear  color and print. But, I guess I can't wait to see this season's offerings in my closet, or obsess about them!

From top to bottom:
1. This gorgeous Mawi necklace reminds me of a favorite vintage pearl necklace of mine. I love to wear it with white button-down shirts for a prim and chic effect. This Mawi version will look amazing with this season's fresh print tops.
2.  I am so inspired by the color blocking on this Fendi handbag. I also love the color combo. And, the black stripe lends a sophisticated edge.
3.  I was lucky to pick up a pair of the Dries Van Noten plaid pajama pants this weekend at Excelsior here in Milan. But, they didn't buy the button down tops from the collection, so now I'm totally obsessing about completing the look with this floral version.
4.  I actually tried these Kenzo printed trousers on at Excelsior but had to leave them behind :-(. The fit is incredible. They're definitely on my wish list.
5. This striped Acne skirt is a continuation of my love affair with this season's stripes. Do you remember my stripe manicure? I'm also planning a striped-themed video, so stay tuned.
6. I was has in fashion paradise when I saw this Proenza Schouler stunner float down the runway. I adore its multi-media elements. I have a feeling that I will be obsessing over it for a long time.
7. I've recently started looking for the perfect pair of SS13 statement sandals. These Nicholas Kirwoods are telling me everything I wanna hear and more. What about you? Are you obsessing over anything this week?

Here are some pics from this month's Elle China's PJ dressing story. The story features street style looks from my "Pajama Time" post as well as these pics of me mixing-n-matching my favorite Prada PJs with other pieces from my closet. It was super fun coming up with all the different combinations, and they really express many of my personal style musts. This look is all about the sportier moments in my life, like a day full of activity that requires for a favorite Gap turtleneck, a can't-live-without Acne sweatshirt and a pair of "I spent my pay check on these" (even after the 50% mark-down) Azzedine Alaïa boots. To see the other looks that I came up with:

Sometimes I go for weeks straight where the only thing that I wear is denim: double denim, triple denim, DENIM. So you know I  had to represent my denim addiction with a pair of fun jeans. These are the Gap's "Always Skinny" style. The kitten pumps are by Charlotte Olympia.

I love prints, and I am so inspired by this season's power pairing of them. So I took a shot at the trend and paired my PJ top with my Proenza Schouler skirt. And to add a little sparkle to the already bright situation, I threw on my Miu Miu glitter booties.

This is my "aperitivo and Chinese at home with friends" look. Perfect for lounging, drinking tons of good wine and watching movies on the sofa. The kimono is the first vintage piece that I purchased here in Italy, the t-shirt is by J.Crew and my platforms are Lanvin.

From the party to my bed, I couldn't ask for more. Here I wear the full set with the Louboutin Pigalle and a Gucci clutch. Nite, nite.

A very special thanks to Leaf Greener and Pony Ma for inviting me to do the story.

It was so lovely meeting Margaret Zhang of Shine By Three this past fashion month. She is adorable, super stylish and incredibly sweet. I love the way she styles this season's must-have Acne sweater with a pair of vintage leather trousers and Forever New's Ollie Mini backpack. I also really like her Samantha Wills Chariot Cuff. So cute! To see other images of her outfit:

So this week has been an all around bad hair week. I skipped a seriously needed grooming session last weekend to hang out with my family and veg out. But come Monday morning, I had to deal with my rebellious pixie cut. I immediately thought of a solution: one of my husband's US Open baseball caps. I really wanted to embrace the sporty/baseball cap trend that I posted about last month. So I headed straight to his coat closet and was hit with the realization that his entire collection (two caps) was missing. Urgh! Catastrophe!
Quick fix! I grabbed my Sebastian molding mud and tried spiking my hair, but I looked like a tree, especially in my Acne green sweater. I then resorted to brushing it into submission. A few spikes poking out here and there, I headed to the office.
And like striking gold, the next day while shooting a project for work, my team and I found ourselves in Serendeepity where I picked out this ethnic inspired baseball cap. Serendeepity, a brilliant concept store on Corso di Porta Ticinese, carries a selection of vinyl records, vintage clothing and accessories, modern antiques and a small selection of contemporary designers. My beautiful baseball cap is by Miko Spinelli, a London based music and fashion artist. Here are a couple pics I snapped while browsing the shop. Enjoy your weekend!
